I remember there being problems with this before and now the problem is back or it's just specific with my account.

I made a payment via Paypal on June 5th, 2004. I checked my account and the payment registered just fine. ( Including the $1.80 late fee I was charged for a half day. No problem. ). A ticket was sent ( ID: 215818 stating that the payment was made. )

Then, a day later, I received a late notice. I sent an email to billing ( Ticket ID 216337 ) stating that this bill had been paid in full.

I am still waiting for replies to both tickets.

Now today I get a second Late notice ( After I paid my bill I should say. ). I then became very alarmed and decided to check my account to make sure. There I noticed that my amount paid had been deleted or accidentaly erased by someone. This was a huge surprise to say the least.

So I have now sent another ticket to both sales and billing along with my paypal receipts. ( ID: 217003 and ID: 217002 ). I just sent these so I'll have to see if I get any replies.

I know this could be a simple mistake or accident, but with those "brisk" and rather sharp late notices and invoices too, I get very worried.

I am only writing this in the forums, because I am not confident this issue will be addressed using the "billing@burst.net" address.

Thank you,

Jim

1. You will NOT receive an answer to you billing ticket since the time you submitted it on June 5 as stated up until this morning, as our billing dept only works MON-FRI. You should receive an answer anytime from this morning forward...

2. If you had used the PayPal payment interface in our web billing system, you would have had the payment auto-posted to your account

You're jumping the gun here...please be patient while you wait for us respond during scheduled billing dept hours.

Actually if I remember correctly, something simular happened to me - I made my payment via paypal, got a notice from paypal stating I'd paid then got an email from burstNET billing saying payment was late

While we know the payment was on time, allowing the automated system send out a "Late Payment Notice" isn't, in my opinion, a great idea.

May want to re visit that puppy and and give a few days grace at least (to account for weekends, holidays etc when burstNET billing staff arn't present)

That's what it was!

I made the payment to the paypal email address and not through the billing system :)

Thanks lol

That's why I always have people make the payment through my billing system or an html form that passes the info along properly to my billing system - never directly to my paypal email address
