I am having a server from Burst. All softwares are uptodate including recent version of Apache and CP.

But I could not upgrade PHP from 4.3.3 to 4.3.7 .

What is the procedure??

I take it you have cPanel/WHM. If so, you SHOULD be able to use easyapache function that WHM has via SSH. Then use it to recompile Apache with PHP 4.3.7.
I'm not for sure, haven't use cPanel/WHM un a bit. :)

There are other ways also......

Sorry. That is not possible. Just 2 days back I recombiled Apache for upgrading to 1.3.31 and I found only PHP 3.3 option is there. So I selected it and finished the job.

It seems PHP3.7 is having some good advantages. So I want to know the procedure.

Where these BurstNET people?
No one is coming and answering my question.

Well, there not anwsering quickly because your server is not fully managed. It's up to you.

I'm not for sure it cPanel allows you to upgrade to 4.3.7, login to WHM as root, then it'll tell you the lastest version they support.
As cpanel is slow on these things.

Ok, I'm wrong, it does support it.
What version of cpanel are you using?

WHM 9.4.0 cPanel 9.4.0-C20

Should already be compiled with PHP 4.3.7.

And i do agree, it is better then 4.3.3

But still not better then PHP 5:D

You can upgrade to PHP 4.3.7 by clicking Update Apache in WHM on the side bar. A submenu of Php Module (Version 4.3.3) is:

Version 4.2.3
Version 4.3.2
x Version 4.3.3
Version 4.3.4
Version 4.3.5
Version 4.3.6
Version 4.3.7

Uncheck the Version 4.3.3 and then check off Version 4.3.7. That's it!

BurstNET staff members are usually too busy working to respond here. You can always email support@burst.net for a quick response though.
